Mentorship
For Senior Projects, I got the privilege to shadow Ms.Diaz from West Park. While shadowing her, I got to experience many things. For example I got to see Ms. Diaz giving advice to her students on how to be a better person. Also, she showed me around the school to show me how they uses PBIS at their school and at her job. Other then that, she explained to me what was the role of a School social work.
Volunteer
As being part of the Health Institute, we have the privileged to volunteer at the local community hospital. My first year as a volunteer, I was a junior and volunteering at Radiology. In that station we were able to experience bone marrow transplant, the change in feeding tubes and even CT scans. My second year of volunteering at CMCR I was place on 2 east. At 2 east I help out by giving out waters and also picking up trays. In these two areas that I volunteer I have learned to interact with others.
Extracurricular Activities
In my three years in Varsity Softball, I played third base, pitcher, and outfield. I was able to make new friends and bond together with my teammates. I got the privilege to travel to all the way to Utah and play against other competitive schools in my sophomore year.
